Letters to the Editor
Redding Sports Park (RSP) opened as Big League Dreams (BLD) in 2004. Built with a 20 million dollar grant from the state, it didn't cost Redding a dime. The city leased our new sports park to BLD for 32 years, the first 4 rent free and 6% of the gross thereafter. BLD was responsible for the upkeep. That didn't happen so, where do we go from here? No one seemed to notice that our sports park fell into disarray. It is my opinion the head of recreation and the city managers fell
