Beginning at 7:30 on Wednesday morning, January 28, dozens of well-dressed (enthusiastic!) men and women started streaming into Country Bowl, located at 2615 Bechelli Lane in Redding, California. They were there because the Anderson Chamber of Commerce asked them to play a greeters role—i.e., to honor and recognize Country Bowl while simultaneously “networking” with other businesses and nonprofits represented.

“On behalf of the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, I want to extend a huge thank you to the management of Country Bowl, specifically CEO Anthony Thompson and Day/Catering Manager Chris Goddard, for being such a wonderful staple for the Anderson community,” remarked Dave Silva, Chamber president. “Country Bowl is one of those places that bring people together, whether it’s for bowling with family and friends, league participation, birthday parties, video games, shooting pool, or just simply showing up for local events,” added Chamber executive director Debe Hopkins.

Some of the businesses and nonprofits that attended included: Budget Blinds, Professional Exterminating, One Safe Place, Craigtastic Consulting, Sequoia Auto Repair, Culligan Water of Chico, Promotional Images, Shasta Family YMCA, Michael’s Office Furnishings, The Treehouse Emporium, and Haven Humane Society.
Also: Matrix Cards and Games, EXP Realty, Stealth Window Tint, Lain Car Club, A-1 Tree Service, RUSH Personnel Services, State Farm, Eat First, Fresh ‘n Clean, Timberlord’s Axe Throwing Range, Midwifery Services, Guild Mortgages, Xpel, and the SHASTA UNFILTERED (North State) eNewspaper.
Country Bowl actively engages with its (multi-county) community on Facebook, sharing updates about (multi-county) community events, promotions, and new amenities, such as Black Lights and Strikes, Clutch Bowling, interactive games, visual lane effects, ball motion tracking, and catering opportunities.
