Every Wednesday morning, from 7 to 9, the Anderson Chamber of Commerce, under the direction of its Executive Director, Debe Hopkins, and ably assisted by its President, Dave Silva, organizes a Greeters party, whereby some 50 to 70 business people gather at a particular business to welcome that business into the membership fold.

On Wednesday morning, January 7, 2026, the recipients of said largese gathered at The Community Room, 1440 Placer, in downtown Redding, to hear Sarah Wallace, the CEO and owner of Strive For Epic, describe how her yoga events company enables people to “have-fun-and-make-new-friends,” while simultaneously growing—and developing—in physical, mental and emotional ways.
Standing before a throng of enthusiastic and accommodating well wishers, including Guild Mortgage, Exterior Cleaning Services, Tree Climber, Professional Exterminators, Edward Jones, SERVPRO, Culligan of Chico, Mourning Space, CRBzr Property Damage Services and Haven Humane Society, Wallace exclaimed, “Strive For Epic is kicking off 2026 with powerful experiences that are designed to re-set your mindset and connect you with a community that’s ready to RISE.”
