The Anderson Chamber of Commerce recently organized a Greeters party on a Wednesday morning at Timberlords Axe Throwing Range, located at 3090 Bechelli Lane in Redding, as a way of welcoming TATR as a new member, according to the Chamber’s president, Dave Silva, and the Chamber’s executive director, Debe Hopkins.

Silva and Hopkins were extremely happy with what they described as an unusually large turnout of Redding-area businesses, nonprofits, and well-wishers, including Trevor Lewis, the marketing manager for SERVPRO of South Shasta County, who exclaimed, “Maybe it’s the popularity of throwing an axe, maybe it’s our great weather, but I definitely feel the community love at Timberlords Axe Throwing Range.” And wishing to express his appreciation for those attending, TATR’s owner, Bob Lain, with son Austin, buttressed Lewis’ comments by saying, “We feel it’s great to witness this community having so much support for each other. Man, nobody does it better than the Anderson Chamber!”

Some of the businesses and nonprofits that turned out to support Timberlords Axe Throwing Range include: Lain’s Carpet Care, Shasta Family Healthcare Services, BBSI.com, Placer Title Company, One Safe Place, RUSH Personnel Services, Giles Insurance, Eagle Eye Painting, All Tree Service, Budget Blinds, Guild Mortgage, Kreatur Comforts Barbershop, Dixon Classic Redefined, Caliber Office Furniture, Professional Exterminators, and Eat Shasta.

Axe throwing leagues, beginning at 6 p.m., have started at Timberlords Axe Throwing Range. According to TATR’s owner, Bob Lain, whether one is a seasoned league champ or just discovering their axe-throwing prowess, leagues are the best way to sharpen skills, meet awesome people, and compete for bragging rights.
