Palo Cedro’s Spooky Show & Shine Is Hit With The Halloween Trick-or-Treaters

Trick-or-Treating for candy, Halloween costumes, dazzling classic cars, not to mention trucks, RVs, motorcycles, and boats were front and center for the 26th Annual Palo Cedro Spooky Show & Shine Car Show, held Saturday, October 31, 2026, on the expansive parking lot of the Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel.
Sponsored by the Greater Palo Cedro Chamber of Commerce (GPCCC), the event was originally scheduled for earlier this year as part of Kool April Nites but had to be rescheduled due to rain.
According to GPCCC’s president, Travis Gilbert, proceeds from the 26th-annual Spooky Show & Shine Car Show will go to local scholarships for youth and downtown Palo Cedro improvements, such as a flagpole project along Deschutes Road.
The Greater Palo Cedro Chamber of Commerce (GPCCC) is a community and business organization that, for the remainder of 2026, is offering memberships completely free...welcoming anyone who wants to take part in community, all-volunteer events, including improvement and beautification projects.
The GPCCC is a tax-exempt corporation located at PO Box 763, Palo Cedro, 96073, holding meetings at Country Strong Fitness and partnering with local entities such as the Palo Cedro Rodeo Association (PCRA) and the Palo Cedro Park Association (PCPA). The GPCC also organizes local mixers for the business and nonprofit community and spotlights “Business Of The Month.”
