Central Valley Youth Falcons Football & Cheer Teams Are Recipients Of 10-2-2026 Fundraiser
Shasta Lake City’s Claire Engle Park was definitely the place to be last Friday evening, especially if you were/are interested in helping raise funds for football and cheerleading teams at Central Valley (CV) High School.
“I want to give a big shout-out to all of the 30 vendors who committed to raising funds for Shasta Lake City’s Central Valley (CV) High School’s football and cheerleading teams,” said Linsey Chacon, a board member of the CV Youth Falcons. “All of the funds raised will go towards an end-of-season party—and gifts—as we had a loss of our snack shack this year. And we appreciate all of the classic cars (and their owners!) that participated. And last, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to several members of the Stormtrooper Ranch, which is a Star Wars fan club that shows up at activities that support children and charities.
“This was our 2nd annual fundraiser benefitting CV’s footballers and cheerleaders,” Linsey added, “And we plan to start doing at least two fundraisers a year, possibly during the holiday season. But first, let’s thank our sponsors:”
