Giff’s Steakburger…and Ugly Burger…Will Keep You Comin’ Back!

Redding has no shortage of burger joints, that’s for sure, but there’s only one restaurant where you can cravenously chow down on an absolutely delicious Steakburger—or Ugly Burger—and that’s Giff’s Steakburger, owned for over 40 years by Dick Blake, a Vietnam Vet known for his good-natured, irreverent trash talk.
“I like the place,” said George Knight, a graduate of the Michigan State Police Academy and now retired in Redding. “It’s great for a good burger and fried mushrooms, and Dick’s is to the point and makes good sense about stuff. I go there several times a year and mostly thank him for his service to our country.”

Giff’s Steakburger is rated #137 out of over 400 restaurants in Redding. In addition to Giff’s celebrated burgers, they also offer a 16-oz. Cheesesteak, jumbo chicken wings, chicken fingers and chicken Caesar wrap. Also, for the weight watchers, Biff’s offers several types of salads.
