Anderson Chamber Greeters Enjoy a Fun Morning at Matrix Cards & Games

Redding, CA – April 15, 2026 – The Anderson Chamber of Commerce Greeters met bright and early at 8 a.m. today at Matrix Cards & Games on Hilltop Drive for their weekly networking event.

The game room beside the main store was packed with members standing in the usual welcoming circle, giving everyone a chance to introduce themselves. Attendees enjoyed delicious coffee, fresh bagels, fruit, and a lively raffle while co-owner Drew Silva, alongside his wife Kaylee, shared the story of how the couple took over the store in late 2023.  Many Chamber attendees shared how the Matrix has positively affected them or their children over the years.

Now one of the nation’s largest sellers of single-game cards—an impressive achievement for a small-city shop—Matrix spans three storefronts and holds more than 250,000 items. The group toured the vibrant retail space, filled with board games, Squishables, Mattel Big Wheels (Matrix is the first independent partner for the iconic brand), and unique, locally handmade goods. They also admired the store’s huge selection of over 1,000 miniatures and paints for tabletop RPGs (Role-Playing Games), a massive variety of dice sets in every shape and color, and the largest Gundam/Gunpla collection north of Sacramento.


The highlight was the new expansion space at the back of the parking lot, where Friday Night Dungeons & Dragons takes place. Five beautiful, officially licensed game tables seat seven players plus a Dungeon Master for complete 3-hour adventures—no weekly commitment required. Games fill up quickly, so reserve your $15 spot online in advance.


Matrix hosts events seven nights a week, including Monday board games and Tuesday Warhammer nights (tables and terrain included; beginners are welcome).
