Frontier Senior Center Hosts Anderson Chamber

As it always does, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce invites many businesses, nonprofits, and individuals to its Greeters (every Wed. morning), and they always show up!  Because Greeter events offer the opportunity to not only network but, most importantly, a chance to recognize—and honor— the HOST.

And on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, the Greeters HOST was Trish Clarke and Shyla Campbell, the president and manager, respectively, of the Frontier Senior Center, as the duo welcomed over 50 businesses, non profits and individuals, including Upstate Hearing (Bryce Etzler); Grind Fire Defense (Brandy Martinez; Kool April Nites (Shantasy England); Nichols Appliance & Mattress (Derron Nichols); Anderson Rotary (Terra Gibson); Professional Exterminators (Dave Silva); Giles Insurance (Maddie Eason).

Also RUSH Personnel (Franky Ordaz); Shasta Family Health Care Services (Cynthia Cortez; SERVPRO (Trevor Lewis); EAT SHASTA (Larry Ramsey); Matrix Cards & Games (Jake Walker); Shasta Community Health Center (Bernie Gutierrez); Anderson Family Fitness (Craig Frost); The Flag Center; Tree of Life; Redding Veterans Home; A1 Tree Service; Action News; Aflac &  Shasta Heating & Air.

In a joint presentation to the Anderson Chamber Greeters, Clarke and Campbell gave an update on the Frontier Senior Center’s efforts to raise over a hundred thousand dollars to repair its 30-year-old roof.  To date, including a recently held fundraising dinner and auction, $30,000 has been raised.

And in a joint statement of appreciation, the Chamber’s president, Dave Silva, and the Chamber’s executive director, Debe Hopkins, remarked, “We want to extend a huge thank you to the Frontier Senior Center for hosting the March 18, 2026, Anderson Greeters.  It is such an important part of our community, providing a welcoming space for seniors in the Anderson area to connect, access resources, and receive support.  It’s more than just a facility, it’s a place where relationships are built, stories are shared, bringing all elements closer together.”

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to gather in such a meaningful venue and for all that the Frontier Senior Center does to serve—and support—our local community.  Thank you for opening the doors to the Anderson Chamber of Commerce; We appreciate you,” Silva and Hopkins conclude.
