Thousands Pack Palo Cedro Park To Revel In—And Enjoy!—Inaugural Palo Cedro Rodeo
The newly established Palo Cedro Rodeo Association (PCRA) bucked off to a strong start by hosting the inaugural Palo Cedro Rodeo 2026 on the Palo Cedro Park grounds on Saturday, September 26, in the semi-tiny town overflowing with community spirit: Palo Cedro, California.
Carlos Zapata, PCRA’s CEO, who also served as a Flank Man for the (stock contractor) Silver Bridge Rodeo Company, issued the following statement: “Nearly 10 years ago, the Palo Cedro Rodeo was only a dream… an idea that Palo Cedro deserved its own RODEO, one that honored our Western heritage, brought families together, and gives our community something to believe in… and be proud of.”
Zapata continues: “That dream is real now because of people like you, plus local families, businesses, volunteers, committee members, competitors (and supporters!) that’ve stepped up to “Make-It-Happen.” This is more than just a rodeo. It is proof of what Palo Cedro can build when we come together with a shared purpose.”
