1st Annual Palo Cedro Park Fall Fest Rated Big Success

A sense of community, costumed children angling for free candy, local craft vendors (food!), a pumpkin carving contest, a costume contest,  even a talent show showcasing singing, dancing, magic tricks…..all this—-and more—was front and center at the first annual Palo Cedro Park Fall Fest, held Saturday, October 18, 2025, from the early  afternoon to the early evening, at the Palo Cedro Park.

With several dozen booth, pop ups and tables, there was plenty to see and do—and consume, such as mini pancakes adorned with strawberries, banana slices, walnuts and maple syrup; or how ‘bout the always present cotton candy, kettle corn and lemonade (with real lemons!), even freeze dried fruits, vegetables, herbs and snacks.

So who made all this fun and frivolity possible?  And will they organize a second annual Palo Cedro Park Fall Fest next year?  “Of course  we will”, exclaimed Monica Herrera;, who along with her sister, Carlina, and friend, Shelly Carlock…….did all the work to make it all possible.  Hail to this energetic, hard-working trio and………..see ‘ya next year!
