If you were at Wednesday’s (2-18-‘26) 14th annual BEAM, or Business Expo And Mixer, organized by the Red Bluff/Tehama County Chamber of Commerce, and held inside the cavernous Red Bluff Community Center, then you not only would’ve seen old friends, business associates and non profit colleagues, but you would’ve had the opportunity to make new ones, such as Mark and Maribel of Shasta College and Jerry Sanchez, Sr., a photographer for the SHASTA UNFILTERED online eNewspaper.

Had you been there, you might’ve shook hands with Red Bluff Mayor JR Gonzalez; or Steve Zane, a member of the Tehama County Board of Supervisors; Dave Gowan, the President/CEO of the Red Bluff/Tehama County Chamber of Commerce; Nathaniel Porter, also with the Red Bluff Chamber; John Waterman, Red Bluff Rotary President; Karen Shaffer, Recreation Supervisor for the City of Red Bluff; Alberto Chavez, Alsco-Geyer/Ace Hardware, Red Bluff and Jerry Sanchez, Sr., SHASTA UNFILTERED, an online newspaper for Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties.

Also, Erin Hensen, Dignity Health, Morae Arthur and Gail Locke of Friends of the Library; Terry Barb and Marie Brayman, Corning Chamber of Commerce, Pauline Mattoon, California Tribal TANF Partnership; Isabel Owens (Rabbits) Los Molinos FFA; Kristal Todd and Jason Baer, Red Bluff Chamber; Elena Chavez and Laura McLane, Northern Valley Community Food Bank; Daniel Pritchard, Jeannette Spaulding, Kristina Quinn and Debbie King, CEO, Sacramento River Discovery Center.

The list goes on: Miranda/Rex Herd, Denny/Cole Hall, Colton Ramos, Mantin 4H Swine Group; Casey Holland/Marlene Sharp, Tehama County Employment Advisory Council; Faelynn Campbell, Palomino Room/Tap House Pizza; Selena Smith, Coldwell Banker; Kelli Gore/Leti Morales, Dignity Health; barbara@Barbara’s Hat Shop; Morgan and RJ Johnson and Landon Skelton/Allie Vandrmum, Main Street Deli.

Businesses and non-profits that attended BEAM include: Hitch Clarity Home Inspections; Down Range Uniform and Equipment; Hitech Clarity Home Inspections; Red Bluff Community Hospital; Tehama County Friends of the Library; Red Bluff FFA and Missing Murdered Indigenous People (MMIP).
And to make BEAM a reality, the following sponsors were: Tehama Together; CINC Architecture; SERVPRO; Palomino Room, Main Street Deli and Sandwich Bar; Tehama Floral and PJ Helicopters. “Probably the very best feature of the Chamber’s Business Expo and Mixer was that it was free and open to the public,” remarked Dave Gowan, Chamber President/CEO, “and we look forward to presenting it in an even bigger—and better—fashion in 2027,” concluded Gowan.
