Dunsmuir’s 2nd Saturday Offers Art, Food, Shopping And Culture

Lots of new art, special Valentines Day menus at local restaurants, such as Cafe Magdalena and Cornerstone Cafe, second-hand stores full of one-of-a-kind treasures, wine and nibbles at the Siskiyou Arts Museum, Darmers Studio, Cobra Lily Bar and Bee Kind Bakery, live music by the Allison and Victor duo, all this and more added to the lure of “2nd Saturday,”  held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in historic downtown Dunsmuir, California.

Many 2nd Saturday attendees, estimated at over a hundred, braved the chill of the late afternoon to do a little shopping, in places such as The Sacred Well, Mossbrae Hotel Keep Shop, Siskiyou Dunsmuir Hardware, Unexpected Treasure, Dandelion Dust, Gold Stitch, Al’s Depot and Emporium, Hearts Bloom Yoga, Head Flay Fly Shop, and the Dunsmuir Library. And for nourishment, to get that traditional “bite to eat,” there were many venues, including Jubilee Railroad Dining Car, Cornerstone Cafe, Pizza Factory, Burger Barn, and Yaks On The 5.

“Every 2nd Saturday in historic downtown Dunsmuir, California, offers the very best of the art, food, shopping, and culture of the Mt. Shasta region,” remarked Ernie George Wasson, board president/volunteer for the Siskiyou Arts Museum, an integral part of the success of the 2nd Saturday events.
