Summary

The latest statewide results confirm James Gallagher’s decisive victory in the CD1 special election. In Shasta County, many races remain too close to call. Erin Resner is in a strong position to win the District 1 seat for Supervisor. Joanna Francescut is in a strong position to win the ROV race. Yes on Measure B is in a strong position to pass as well. We will wait on the next results update before we call any races.

Statewide, the Governor’s race remains the marquee contest, with Steve Hilton and Xavier Becerra positioned to face off in November. Democratic incumbents are advancing comfortably in the Attorney General and Controller races and are expected to face off against Republican challengers in November.
