Hey, everybody—especially you classic car enthusiasts from throughout the western USA—now is the time to set your calendars for Kool April Nites' 10-day celebration, April 17–26, 2026, that Redding, California, is famous for... and rightly so!

If you were fortunate enough to be at the Gaia Hotel in Anderson, California, on Wednesday morning, February 4, 2026, you were front and center to hear Kool April Nites president Ryan Dorosz address dozens of people (Anderson Chamber of Commerce "Greeters"), some with infants in tow, about how this year’s event is going to go down.
As Mr. Dorosz pointed out, although Kool April Nites is the largest all-volunteer car show on the West Coast, there’s always a need for more volunteers and sponsors. “Being a sponsor for Kool April Nites means connecting with ‘out-of-area’ visitors who are actively spending on lodging, dining, fuel, retail, and experiences,” Dorosz remarked. “And becoming a volunteer will give you a sense of pride and self-worth, especially knowing your efforts make a big difference.”

Kool April Nites will feature hundreds of vehicles—from vintage hot rods and muscle cars to street rods, and custom builds—plus 40 Show & Shines, cruise-ins, swap meets, food, music, a Poker Walk, and a drive-in movie. Of course, there’s the Big Show & Shine inside and outside the Redding Civic Auditorium.
Kool April Nites Vendors co-chair Mark Caruso announced that food, retail, and craft vendors are needed for the Show 'n' Shine on April 19, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “So far, we’ve got 56 vendors committed, with room for 70—so there are at least 14 spots available,” Caruso said. “I’m encouraging potential vendors to call me at 530-782-1677 or email vendors@koolaprilnites.com.”

For sponsorships, contact Shantasy England, Sponsors/Marketing co-chair, at 530-917-1341 or sponsors@koolaprilnites.com.

In attendance at the Gaia Hotel were businesses and nonprofits from throughout Shasta County, including: Authentic Impact Marketing, RUSH Personnel Services, Caruso’s Customs, Sierra Pacific, Shasta County Health Care Services, Phil Doyle Photo, Edward Jones (Ryan Dorosz), Haven Humane Society, State Farm Insurance, Upstate Hearing, Guild Mortgage, Eat First, Community Alliance Network, NBC Action News, Totally Camping, Raffle City, Professional Exterminators, Full Throttle Band, Professional Images, Budget Blinds, Strive For Epic, Serv Pro, Aflac, Concepts Custom, Rare Air, Cascade Theatre, Swanson’s Heating and Air, Kindred Hearts, Marketing and Consulting from Tehama County, Fall River Brewing, Authority Property Management, and the SHASTA UNFILTERED eNewspaper, which provides honest news, sports, and entertainment for the North State counties of Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity.
