It was billed as an unforgettable evening of  “fun-and-frolic” as Sequoia Middle School in Redding, California, took center stage, hosting many hundreds of celebrants young, old and in between, for its annual Fall Festival, held on the cool Friday evening of October 24, 2025.

From the get go it was free fun for two hours of trunk-or-treat, games, food trucks and a dance party. But the real stars of the night, or at least the most noticeable, were the overwhelming number of kids, costumed in their favorite Halloween-type characters and enjoying every minute of it.

Organized by the eight Parents Clubs of the eight schools in the Redding Unified School District, which include Bonnyview, Cypress, Juniper, Manzanita, Sycamore, Turtle Bay, Sequoia and Redding Achieve, the event also featured an impressive number (21) of community partnerships.
