The Redding Rancheria really knows how to throw an everyone—is—-welcome party, and “The Big Time Event,” organized and presented by the Redding Rancheria, was no exception.
The Redding Rancheria held its seventh-annual “Big Time Event” on June 26, 27 & 28, ‘26 in the Win River Resort and Casino’s lower parking lot. The event featured the most important element: a diverse, enthusiastic crowd, plus traditional dancers (like the Pomo), cultural demonstrations, artisan and food vendors, and a HandGame Tournament that offered prizes of five thousand for first place and two thousand for second place.

Said JACK POTTER, Tribal Chairman, “On behalf of the Redding Rancheria, I’d like to give everyone a heartfelt thank you to all who attended our 'Big Time Event.” We are so grateful for our dancers, vendors, and every spectator who showed up. The “Big Time Event” is nothing without our community, and you all showed up in a big way.”
Other attendees expressed a similar sentiment for the “Big Time Event.”
LAURI HAYWARD-“It was Good Medicine…and lots of energy, the blessing of listening to the songs and dance of the healing that takes place, and the fun to watch them show themselves in their moments. I enjoyed Redding Rancheria’s “Big Time Event.”
PAULINE NEZ-"Thanks for entertaining, traditional ceremonies (thank you, Son Jack Potter) stay well…and we enjoy what we watch.”
ANN MARIE PERFECTA RAMIREZ-“I wasn’t able to attend, but I love the honor your people bring to each other.”
DANITA NANETTE QUINN-“Porch Fabella"
Redding Rancheria is a sovereign nation where pride in tribal culture, history, and identity is evident internally and in the larger community.
