Katniss is a petite little lady, currently weighing just about 4 pounds and standing out with her unique, delicate markings. She’s mostly black with a crisp white stripe running down her chin, matching white stripes on each of her front paws, and adorable little white “boots” on her back paws. A perfect white heart graces her chest, and long, elegant white whiskers frame her striking jade-green eyes. While not a classic tuxedo, her one-of-a-kind look makes her absolutely unforgettable.
Rescued as a tiny kitten along with her siblings from a feral cat colony, Katniss (estimated DOB March 13, 2021) was the runt of the litter. Now around 3 years young, she’s grown into a playful, easygoing sweetheart who loves spending time with cats of all ages in her foster home. Whether she’s chasing toys or curling up for cuddles, Katniss brings joy and gentle affection everywhere she goes.
Her journey hasn’t been without challenges. When she first arrived, Katniss was suffering from one of the worst cases of viral eye infection her rescuers had ever seen. Many worried she might lose her sight, but this tiny fighter pulled through after dedicated care and multiple treatments. Today her eyes sparkle with gratitude, and her affectionate personality shines through—she’s truly a love bug who knows she’s been given a second chance.
Katniss is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. As part of her adoption, she’ll also receive 6 months of complimentary grooming courtesy of Pamela Blackwell at Puppy Love Grooming in Redding, CA — a $500 value!
