Located in Cottonwood, CA, Catz and Dogz of The North State is thrilled to spotlight this week’s precious girl: sweet China!
Picture this heartbreaking scene: At only 4–5 weeks old, tiny China was tossed over a fence into a senior mobile home park. Thankfully, some kind residents found her shivering and alone, then called the shelter right away to take her in. That’s when this little fighter got her second chance and has been blooming into the most loving kitty ever since.
Born around August 2021, China is a stunning Harlequin girl — that rare and whimsical pattern with a predominantly white coat splashed with bold, random patches that give her such striking, one-of-a-kind charm. She’s got the most gorgeous jade-green eyes and an adorable Marilyn Monroe beauty mark that makes everyone melt. At just 8 lbs, she’s stayed a petite little lady her whole life — tiny, portable, and perfect for cuddles!
China is extremely affectionate and super chatty — she loves to talk to you all day long. She plays beautifully with all the other kitties in rescue and gets along great with small, well-mannered dogs too (she even does well with Michelle’s cat and small dog in her foster home). She’s the ultimate lap cat who just wants to be loved.
