My Wishes for the New Year

December 31, 2025

As another year comes to an end, I am grateful for the many blessings that God has bestowed on us, both upon my family and upon our great country, the United States of America.  We are making progress in many areas, most importantly, in the spiritual reawakening of our people, grounded in the love that Jesus Christ poured out unto humanity through his sacrifice and through his teachings.  He offered us eternal salvation, no matter our sinful nature, as long as we trust in Him and strive to follow his teachings.

My sincere wishes that I make for each of you, our readers are these:

1)         That you receive our Lord into your heart if you haven’t already done so.  And that if you have, that you continue to grow in your faith and trust in Him.

2)         That you see the miracles around you each day, evident in the beauty of nature, the infectious joy of laughing, playful, and smiling children, the acts of kindness of those who share and care for others, and the amazing gifts that God has given each and every one of us, all different and varied, but each one coming together as pieces of a grand, beautiful puzzle that God has created.

3)         That we have renewed interest in good governance by our citizenry, that they become better informed of the issues, and that they do not take the right to vote lightly or for granted, since good men and women have fought and died for this right.

4)         That we have continued revelations and justice centered on fair elections, cleaning up the voters rolls that have been fraught with inaccuracies either by intention or negligence.

5)         That we continue to honor our brave men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us safe and that we remember to pray for their safety in the line of duty, whether it be in the military, police, sheriff, highway patrol, first responders, fire fighters, and all law enforcement personnel and private security guards.

6)         That we have less government intrusion into our lives and that we go back to our founding principles of the U.S. Constitution and a free market society that helped build this great nation.  That people will be made aware of the fact that no socialist or Marxist country has ever been a success because eventually they stifle all creativity and growth and run out of money in the process.

7)         That we allow for civil discourse, constructive debate on issues, and that we avoid labels and name-calling, working to see where we can come together on points of agreement and agree to disagree on those issues that we may not see eye-to-eye.

8)         That we respect and treat each other with kindness, but that we don’t condone or allow criminals to continue committing crimes at the expense of law-abiding citizens.

9)         That we teach our children these principles and model good behavior for them.

10)  That we allow children to be children and not introduce sexual concepts until they are in high school.  That they be taught that God made them perfect and that they will continue to evolve and change as they get older.  That “gender affirming care” will be a thing of the past when it comes to young people.  Decisions like that should be only made by adults after they have grown to full maturity, and even then, that the decisions be based with full disclosure of the side effects.

11)  That we will not poison our bodies with drugs, alcohol, or junk foods, keeping ourselves physically fit to do the good works that God has intended for us.

12)  That, as we continue to see the digital age evolve, it will not become all-consuming or intrusive.
