Bodie is a handsome Rottweiler mix, approximately 1 to 1½ years old. If you’re searching for a dog who brings endless smiles and laughter, this goofy, energetic boy is sure to win you over!
Bodie’s greatest joy is splashing and playing in the kiddie pool—he’s a true water dog through and through. When excitement hits, he takes off running on those long legs, flailing with pure joy in a way that’s impossible not to laugh at. His playful, happy-go-lucky personality is absolutely contagious and lights up any room.
Beyond the fun, Bodie is a smart and eager learner. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and he’ll happily offer a paw—especially when he knows a tasty treat is involved. Highly food-motivated, he’s a quick study who makes training new tricks enjoyable and rewarding.
He has done well with other dogs, but a meet-and-greet is required if you already have canine companions at home to ensure everyone gets along. His interactions with cats are unknown, as he arrived at the shelter as a stray.
Bodie would do best with respectful children who know how to interact properly with dogs.
This fun-loving, water-obsessed goofball is ready to find his forever family—one that will laugh with him, play with him, and give him all the love he deserves.
