Karaoke Contest Slated for September 19th in Palo Cedro - Benefiting Moms for Liberty Group in Shasta County

PALO CEDRO — Shasta County singers still have a short window to enter a karaoke contest offering a $1,000 grand prize.
Moms for Liberty Shasta County will host “Stars, Stripes, and Karaoke” on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Palo Cedro area. Chapter Chair Katie Gorman told Shasta Unfiltered that sign-ups have been strong and that only seven singer slots remain. She said she expects a large crowd.

The audience picks the winner. Voting tokens are $5 each or five for $20, with proceeds supporting the local chapter. Snacks and drinks will be sold. Katie and Arthur Gorman will emcee.
Moms for Liberty began in Florida in 2021 and now lists about 310 chapters in 48 states. Its stated purpose is “fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating, and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government.”
