Elon Musk’s Comments on DOGE Exposing Corruption in our Government and His Predictions for the Future as Revealed in His Latest 3-Hour Interview on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE)

Joe Rogan is famous as a multi-platform media powerhouse — blending comedy, combat sports commentary, podcasting, and cultural commentary.  His podcasts have had the highest following for the last five years.  Elon Musk sat down with Joe Rogan (JRE #2404, October 31, 2025) and was interviewed again for over three hours.  This is the seventh time Musk has appeared on the JRE and these interviews are among the most watched interviews of all time.

Musk Teases About Next-Generation Roadster Being Crazier Than All of the James Bond Cars Combined

Musk hyped Tesla's upcoming vehicles as "alien technology." He confirmed the next-generation Roadster (delayed since 2020) will debut before 2025 ends, teasing "crazier than all James Bond cars combined" features—including potential flight capabilities via vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) tech. "If Peter [Thiel] wants a flying car, we should be able to buy one," he quipped. He also detailed Cybertruck engineering: its ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton (bulletproof, can't be stamped traditionally), 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds while towing a 747, and four-wheel steering for apocalypse-ready "maximum macho" utility.

Transgender Numbers are Falling Due to the Truth Getting Shared About the Harms of Transitioning

Musk pointed out that “trans” numbers are falling because as people share information on uncensored platforms such as “X”, they are realizing that people who try to change their gender through surgeries and other medical interventions, have a much higher suicide rate than those who do not.  Some children who express an interest in being transgender simply grow out of it if they are left to mature naturally.  Elon talked about someone he knows who had a 14-year-old daughter in a California school whose school tried to have the child taken away from the father in order to allow the daughter to undergo a medical gender transition.  The father took the daughter out of California the next day and they relocated to Texas, where a year later, the daughter changed her mind about transitioning and has been fine ever since.

Drugs Fueling Homeless Problem and NGOs are Benefitting

Musk’s views on the homeless problem getting worse instead of better in places like California where $24 billion has been spent, point to a problem of non-governmental agencies (NGOs) or charities getting the money and having a disincentive to fix the problem. The more “homeless” people there are, the more money they collect, which is almost $1 million per homeless or “drug zombie”, as Elon described.  He said law enforcement know who the drug dealers are that are causing this problem, yet they don’t want to arrest them and district attorneys won’t prosecute them, to keep the NGOs’ funding flowing from the state government (California). 

"The Woke Mind Virus" Infecting AI

Elon stated that the “woke mind virus” has been effectively programmed into AI (Artificial Intelligence) because AI is trained using all of the information available on the internet and then programmers train the AI by encouraging AI to prioritize diversity and to avoid misgendering.  AI’s programmers live in ultra-liberal areas in California such as Berkeley, San Francisco, and Palo Alto.  They are the ones who are creating AI and then their views and biases are reflected in the AI that is then controlling the narrative.  For example, Google’s Gemini (2024) generated Black Vikings, female Popes, and Asian Founding Fathers when asked for "historically accurate" images.*  Musk stated he is trying to make sure his Grok AI is truthful and avoids such mischaracterizations. 

Beware of "Suicidal Empathy" -

Musk spoke of “suicidal empathy” which is detrimental to a country or culture.  This is where you have more empathy for the criminal than for the victim, which leads to allowing criminals back onto the streets to maim or kill again.  Musk said that is what happened when a Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee was stabbed to death on a train in Charlotte, North Carolina, in a random unprovoked stabbing by a man named Decarlos Brown, Jr. who had a history of mental illness and 14 prior arrests for various crimes including robbery, assault, larceny, and breaking and entering. While it is good to have empathy to some extent, we need to protect society from criminals that continue to commit crimes or from people coming into the country that haven't been properly vetted.  He said Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama changed their tunes, over the years, about protecting our borders when they realized that the people coming in illegally will vote Democratic and keep them in power because they are soft on crime and giving handouts to the illegals.  They were giving the illegals $10,000 debit cards and housing them in luxury hotels.  The current government shutdown is all about keeping the money flowing to the blue states who are paying for the illegals.  He said the states do “self-reporting” about the money they are requesting the federal government to reimburse them for.  If you turn off the money, the illegals will leave. 

U.S. Census Counts Illegal Immigrants, Giving More Congressional Seats Than Warranted

The U.S. Census is conducted every 10 years and counts every person, whether here legally or not, whether U.S. citizen or not, and those numbers translate into congressional seats and electoral votes in the Presidential elections.  The Democrats, by allowing illegals to enter our country are trying to cement a super-majority in congress and effectively prevent fair elections in the future.  The Social Security Administration was keeping 20 million people in the database that were fraudulent and then those fraudulent Social Security Numbers were being used to allow for payments for all sorts of government programs.  Also, DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) uncovered a pattern of fraudulent payments that had no verifiable data attached and were basically on an auto-payment system.  Musk stated that 90% of the payments were going to Democratic-associated entities and 10% were going to Republican entities.  Therefore, he stated, since the corruption is on both sides of the aisle, there is opposition to stopping it. 

National Debt is Unsustainable Unless We Can Grow the Economy

Musk stated that he is very concerned about the national debt with interest payments on the debt being a larger amount than the entire military budget.  He said the DOGE cuts have given us some “runway” but that eventually, if we don’t grow the economy at a much faster rate, the U.S. will become bankrupt.  He thinks that AI and robotics will help us grow the economy but that this will cause a “supersonic tsunami” for desk jobs that will be replaced by AI.  In a hopeful scenario, the displaced workers will be receiving a high basic universal income which will allow them to still have a good standard of living without having to work. 

Regarding President Trump: "He is not evil." On the Other Hand, the Biden Administration Refused to Allow Elon Musk to Rescue the Stranded Astronauts for Political Reasons

Regarding President Donald Trump, Elon stated that he has spent a lot of time with Trump and while Trump isn't perfect, he is not evil, repeating "He is not evil.” even though the main stream media tries to portray him that way. Musk went on to complain about the legacy media, as they give no positive coverage, or very little, to anyone not on the political left. When Musk offered to rescue the astronauts that were stranded on the International Space Station due to technical problems, his offer was declined under the Biden administration who sent Musk a message that there should be no attempt to rescue the astronauts before the election. At this time, Elon was campaigning for Trump and the Biden administration didn't want Elon to get that type of attention. Later, after Trump took office, the two astronauts who had spent nine grueling months in space, were rescued by Musk's SpaceX team. According to Musk, the legacy media gave very little coverage to the rescue. Joe Rogan expressed dismay that the Biden administration was so heartless to allow the astronauts to continue to suffer for political reasons.

Elon States that New York Mayoral Candidate, Zohran Mamdani is a "Swindler"

Musk warned about Zohran Mamdani, whom he called the charismatic “swindler”.  Mamdani is the Democratic nominee and front-runner in the 2025 New York City mayoral race (polling ~10+ points ahead of rivals like Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa as of November 1, 2025). He's a 34-year-old state assemblyman from Queens, born in Uganda to Indian parents, and the first Muslim nominee for NYC mayor.  Mamdani is a self-described democratic socialist, affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) since 2017.  Musk stated that if socialism is such a great thing, then why are the boats coming from Cuba to the U.S., only going in one direction?  Why do these type of ideological governments try to keep people from escaping by building walls?
