Dazzling Fashion Show at The Atrium!

Redding Fashion Alliance’s “All That Glitters” Event on Saturday, November 15, 2025 was Amazing! Bravo to the Designers and Models!
The fabrics and designs were just gorgeous and the models, well, they were spectacular! Such creativity, elegance, and beauty was on display Saturday evening at the Atrium in downtown Redding, for the 9th annual Fashion Show Gala featuring 15 local designers and a multitude of garments. The Redding Fashion Alliance (RFA) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that is committed to improving the lives of Northern California citizens by mobilizing self-sufficiency and providing affordable access to fashion, sewing, and business education while encouraging the growth of the creative economy.
Each year, the RFA puts on a fashion show gala to entertain the community and raise money to run their programs. They recently opened a garment fabric store called the Fashion Fabric Boutique to provide access to finer fabrics now that Joann’s Fabric Store has closed in Redding. They are located at 1698 Market Street in Redding and offer maker space, sewing classes and workshops as well as a mentorship program.
Designers participating in this year’s show were Nancy White of NWD Couture, Gini Holmes of SweetVirginia, Abigail Ballard of A.J. Young Designs, Wade C. Crabtree of WadeMade by Colin’s Creations, Sandy Scott of Venus d’Pyro, Antonia Kostelec of Cara Mia (Bridal), Olethea Devault of Steele Pearl, Heidy Byers of Lulo’s Stitch & Style, Hilary Fahey of Dark Corner Designs, Stephanie Somer of Sundered and Sewn, Decarol Randle of DLR Designs, Deb Portelance of Deb Portelance Designs, Rena Hembrock of Hembrock Studio, Julie Kong of Sugarcane Sweet Designs, and Rhenn Beaumont of Eccentric Armadillo Armory. Mentors were Deb Portelance and Jen Kowalski. Executive Director, Jan Kearns, was very appreciative of the community support and is looking forward to next year’s 10th anniversary show!
