Red Bluff, CA – April 18, 2026 — Under bright sunshine and clear blue skies, the 72nd Annual Red Bluff Round-Up Parade rolled through downtown Red Bluff this morning, drawing nearly 10,000 spectators and bringing together over 1,000 participants in a heartfelt display of hometown pride.

This year’s parade carried the special theme “150 Years of Stars and Stripes and Hometown Spirit,” honoring the City of Red Bluff’s 150th anniversary and Tehama County’s 170th anniversary. Longtime community leader Jean Barton served as Grand Marshal, leading the procession with grace and Western spirit.

The streets came alive with color and energy from the moment the parade kicked off at 10:00 AM. The Red Bluff CHP Explorer Post had the honor of leading the procession, setting a proud tone for the day. What followed was a wonderful mix of creative floats, beautifully decorated horses (over 150 strong), energetic marching bands, classic vehicles, community groups, and plenty of patriotic flair.
Organizers and attendees alike noted the standout creative costumes, imaginative themes, and festive floats that captured the anniversary spirit. Youth groups shone brightly, with over 350 young people taking part and clearly having a wonderful time waving flags, smiling for the crowds, and soaking in the excitement.

Shasta Unfiltered proudly participated in the parade, rolling down the route with our distinctive red truck adorned with waving American flags. It was a great opportunity to connect with the community and celebrate the values that make the North State special.

The event ran smoothly thanks to the dedication of more than 200 volunteers, including the hardworking Tehama County Search & Rescue Team, Chamber Ambassadors, Red Bluff Police Department, Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, and many others. Perfect weather made the morning even better, creating ideal conditions for families, visitors, and locals to enjoy the show.

From the cheers along the parade route on Madison, Washington, and Walnut Streets to the smiles on participants’ faces, the day embodied everything that makes small-town rodeo traditions so special — community, patriotism, and pure fun.
The 105th Red Bluff Round-Up weekend continues tonight with the Saturday Night Concert at the fairgrounds and wraps up with the final rodeo performance on Sunday afternoon. If you missed the parade, there’s still plenty of rodeo action left to enjoy!
