When people get together, especially if they are in the business and non-profit world, good, mutually beneficial things can happen. But it takes someone, some entity… to effectively organize these “always busy” business and nonprofit entities. One of the best to carry out these necessities is the Red Bluff/Tehama County Chamber of Commerce, which recently put together a Regional Chamber Meeting at the Rolling Hills Resort and Casino, very near downtown Corning, California.
The turnout to this 4th annual event was more than admirable…..and if you were there, at this fabulous, more-than-hospitable venue, you’d have shaken hands, broken bread, and conversed enthusiastically, perhaps humorously, with about a hundred attendees………including:
JB Stacy (Red Bluff Round Up);
Debe Hopkins (Anderson Chamber);
Joe Bull (Action News);
Bryce Etzler (Upstate Hearing);
Nigel Skeet (Shasta County Chamber);
Justin Wandro (Good News Rescue Mission);
Roseanne Larsen-Burrill (Lassen House);
Ray Funtanella (Funta Media);
Angie Carmen (Columbia Bank/Red Bluff);
Nat Porter (Red Bluff Chamber);
Jerry Sanchez, Sr., (Shasta Lake Chamber);
Jason Bauer (Red Bluff Chamber);
Brianne Flaga (KRON);
Araceli Gutierrez (Araceli Marketing);
Lee Karp (Northern Valley Catholic Services);
Matt Etzler (Etzler Financial Advisors);
Jose Trejo (365 Junk Haulers);
Dan Ozuna (3Core);
Brian Fox (Los Molinos Chamber);
Randy Hansen (Express Employment Professionals);
Dave Gowan (Red Bluff Chamber);
Ranee Peeples (Coastal Business Systems);
Scarlett Taff (Placer Title Company/Red Bluff) and
Lisa Hansen (Express Employment Professionals).
Said Dave Gowan, CEO, Red Bluff/Tehama County Chamber of Commerce: “We had an incredible time at this year’s Regional Chamber Meeting, with Chamber leaders, businesses, and organizations from across the region coming together. Over one hundred people attended, making it another outstanding event.”
Gowan continues: “Rolling Hills Resort and Casino Event Manager, Kate Arrowsmith, along with their entire team, did a first-class job as always, hosting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved. This marks the fourth year we’ve held the event, and it continues to be an encouraging networking opportunity to build relationships, share ideas, and strengthen our regional partnerships.”
Gowan concludes: “The chef prepared amazing appetizers, and we’re grateful to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend. A special thank you goes to Rolling Hills Resort and Casino and their entire team for their hospitality and commitment to making this event such a success.”
