It was a collaborative effort between the Redding Emblem Club 515 and the Redding Elks Lodge 1073, as explained by the event’s chairman, Dawn Pedersen, featuring a beaucoup array of “candy everywhere,” a bounce house, cotton candy, Halloween-themed music and free books urging—and educating-the kiddies to stay away from drugs.  There was even a tunnel of terror, plus the imposing, albeit affable……Leroy the Giant Elk!
