FBI Releases Chilling Doorbell Camera Footage of Masked Suspect in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping —

Reward Now $100,000 (Updated Feb 13, 2026)

Tucson, AZ — In a major breakthrough on February 10–13, the FBI released raw surveillance video and still images from Nancy Guthrie’s front-door Nest camera, showing a masked, gloved, and apparently armed individual tampering with the device just minutes before her pacemaker signal was lost and she vanished.

The footage — recovered from “residual data in backend systems” after the camera was physically removed — has already generated thousands of new tips.

FBI Suspect Description (Released Feb 13)

  • Male, 5'9"–5'10", average build

  • Wearing a black 24–25 liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack (photos of exact model also released)

  • Black gloves, ski-mask/balaclava, appears to be carrying a holstered handgun

Possible Second Individual / Nearby Footage Investigators are also examining Ring doorbell video captured ~5 miles away at 1:52 a.m. (minutes after Nancy’s Nest camera went offline) showing a man carrying/wearing two similar backpacks while attempting to climb a wall.

Additional Evidence Recovered

  • Multiple black gloves found near the home and along roads — now undergoing DNA testing

  • White forensics tent erected outside Nancy’s front door this week

  • FBI requesting all neighborhood security footage from Jan 11 (9–11 p.m.) and Jan 31 (9:30 a.m.–11 a.m.)

Reward Increased to $100,000 The FBI and family have doubled the reward for information leading to Nancy’s safe return and/or the arrest of those responsible.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, remains missing 13 days after her abduction from her Tucson home. She has limited mobility, chronic pain, and requires daily medication.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI tip line: 1-800-CALL-FBI or tips.fbi.gov

The investigation continues 24/7 with hundreds of agents. The family’s message remains clear: “We will never give up on her.”
