Not even cold, overcast weather could stem the flock of kids, parents in tow, from attending Cottonwood’s Christmas Celebration, one of the town’s biggest events of the year. Held “all day” on Saturday, November 29, 2025, smack dab embedded in the middle of Cottonwood’s historic Front Street, and organized by the town’s Chamber of Commerce, the Christmas Celebration did not disappoint. Said the Chamber’s president, Dan Canavan: “Thanking all of the Chamber’s volunteers, whose hard work and dedication made this fantastic event possible, is something that I’m privileged to do. And a huge shout out to the Cottonwood Fire Department, who made possible the erection of our very large American flag and the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.”

Of course, there were lots of kid-friendly things to do, such as face painting, photos with Santa, a milk and cookies break with Santa and……..food. Lots of it, with food trucks abounding and some of the vendors, over 70 strong, with their own version of gastronomical delights. As that very old saying goes, “A Good Time Was Had By All."
