Community Christmas Ham Dinner and Raffle Fundraiser Set for December 13 in Burney

Burney, CA – The American Legion Post 441, dedicated to serving veterans and the Intermountain community since 1939, is hosting its Annual Bill Baldwin Memorial Christmas Ham Dinner & Pig Raffle Fundraiser on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Burney Veterans Hall (37420 Main Street).


This family-friendly event features a hearty ham dinner priced at $12 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Attendees can also participate in exciting raffle drawings at 8:00 PM, including two halves of a pig (cut, wrapped, and frozen), two cords of firewood (pickup required by December 31), a $150 Safeway gift card, and additional prizes.


Proceeds support vital youth programs, scholarships, and new initiatives for Intermountain veterans. Sponsorships are available for $100, which include two raffle books and two dinner tickets (valued at $64), with the remaining funds directly benefiting community efforts. Sponsors will be recognized in local newspaper ads, at the event, and with a framed certificate of appreciation.
