CA Voter ID Initiative Reaches 1 Million Signatures
On January 5th, Carl DeMaio, a Republican California Assemblymember (District 75) announced his Voter ID Initiative hit 1 million signatures. The proposed constitutional amendment requires voter ID for all California elections, verifies citizenship, and improves voter roll accuracy. DeMaio is targeting 1.2 Million by March 15th to ensure 873,000 verified signatures.
