Pet of the Week – "Munchkin" Kitten from S.N.A.P.

This spunky little girl is always on the move! She’s the plumpest kitten S.N.A.P. has seen all year—a true chunk—with a loving personality that melts hearts.

She is available for adoption at the S.N.A.P. Thrift and Gift Store. S.N.A.P. (Spay Neuter and Protect) is a local nonprofit that began in 2018 with the mission of offering the community a low-cost spay/neuter voucher program to help reduce the number of unwanted and unaltered cats and kittens. The organization also runs an adoption program dedicated to finding safe, loving homes for cats and kittens forever in need.

To support its work, S.N.A.P. operates a Thrift and Gift Store at 9155A Deschutes Road in Palo Cedro and organizes additional fundraisers throughout the year.

The store is closed Sunday and Monday, open Tuesday–Friday 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

With more than 100 cats currently in care, S.N.A.P. is always grateful for donations of:

• Dry & wet cat/kitten food

• Cat litter (both non-clumping and clumping)

• Litter boxes (all sizes)

• Litter scoops

• Paper towels

• Extra-large food/water dispensers

• Food/water bowls (all sizes)

• Cat trees
