Palo Cedro, CA – On Saturday evening, May 2, Anderson City Councilmember Darin Hale welcomed a strong turnout for his fundraiser dinner in the heart of the Northstate. The event featured a lively chili cookout under clear skies on a beautiful spring evening, drawing conservative values supporters who enjoyed good food, patriotic camaraderie, and a shared commitment to restoring principled leadership in Sacramento. The gathering highlighted Hale’s growing momentum as he campaigns for California State Assembly District 1. He faces challengers Heather Hadwick and Dianna James in the race. Supporters praise Hale’s record of transparency and his willingness to fight for rural Northern California values.

“I Can’t Stand Idly By”

Hale addressed the crowd with a message of determination and integrity. “I can’t stand idly by and just let these things happen to our kids.” “I will absolutely grind for you guys, absolutely grind, day in and day out. I got really sick of our legislators just being dishonest. It baffles me...That’s not me, that’s never been me.”

Hale’s straightforward style and commitment to honesty resonated throughout the evening. Many of his supporters are frustrated by Sacramento’s disconnect from rural communities and are confident that Hale would deliver real results for District 1.

Rooted in Northstate Values

Darin Hale’s story is deeply tied to the land and traditions of Northern California. He spent his childhood on a thousand-acre farm spanning Modoc and Lassen Counties. “I highly value my traditional Christian family upbringing,” Hale shares on his campaign website. “From regularly attending Sunday Services to hunting, fishing, and being somewhat reckless on three-wheelers, by the Grace of God, I survived my youth and graduated from Big Valley High School Class of ’95.”

After high school, Hale established himself in Shasta County and built a career in the construction industry. In 2013, he and his wife, Cassie, settled in Anderson with their three children. The family enjoys camping, church activities, vacations, and participating in a wide variety of North State events.

Proven Local Leader

In 2024, Darin Hale made history by winning his seat on the Anderson City Council with the most votes ever recorded in the city. As a councilmember, he has focused on transparent, service-oriented governance. He believes the same approach will serve Assembly District 1 well.

“This District needs a fierce leader now more than ever,” Hale says. “I am confident I can bring rural issues that affect our daily lives to the forefront in Sacramento and actually deliver results.” His vision includes uniting residents, businesses, schools, organizations, and local governments to make District 1 the best in the state.

Core Principles and America First Agenda

Hale’s platform is built on clear, conservative values: God, Family, Country, Neighbor, and an unapologetic America First agenda.

He stands as a:

  • First and Second Amendment Absolutist

  • Pro-Life advocate

  • Champion of Parental Rights

  • Supporter of Election Integrity and Voter ID

  • Advocate for a Secured Border

  • Promoter of Limited Government and reduced bureaucracy

  • Defender of the Republic over pure Democracy

  • Supporter of Minimal Regulations and Lower Taxes

  • Opponent of Property Tax burdens

  • Advocate for Veteran Priority

  • Defender of Medical Freedom

These positions reflect the priorities of many Northstate families who feel Sacramento has grown too distant, too regulatory, and too disconnected from everyday life in rural California.

As the campaign for Assembly District 1 heats up, Hale’s successful Palo Cedro fundraiser demonstrated strong grassroots enthusiasm. Supporters left the event energized, believing Darin Hale offers the integrity, work ethic, and rural perspective needed in the State Assembly.
