My husband, Jerry, and I gave up our crowded Southern California lifestyle in 2000 after passing through the pleasant small towns of Yreka, Mount Shasta, and Weed in Northern California. We were returning from a trip to Portland, Oregon, to visit relatives. The 10th anniversary of the Annual Halloween Trick or Treat is on Sunday, 10/26/25 from 1-3 PM. Costumed or not, bring your children or grandchildren, and watch the joy on their faces as they collect the “treats”, free books and coloring books, and lots more in the Trick or Treat Bag (provided to the first 200) and have fun in the Bounce House, Tunnel of Terror (haunted house), with a DJ providing music and ample room for the kids to burn some energy.
