The U.S. Supreme Court agreed on December 5 to review the legality of President Trump's executive directive aiming to limit birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, a move lower courts have deemed unconstitutional.  Oral arguments are expected to take place in the spring of 2026.
