On December 14, 2025, two people were found dead inside a Brentwood home in Los Angeles owned by director and actor Rob Reiner. Authorities from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a medical aid call around 3:30 p.m. PT and discovered the bodies of a man approximately 78 years old and a woman approximately 68 years old. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived shortly after and initiated an investigation.
